Emeritus Vineyards Hallberg Brut Blanc de Noir 2020

A block of clone 115 from Hallberg Ranch was chosen and farmed specifically for sparkling wine. The grapes were immediately pressed using a hydraulic basket press, the resulting juice was fermented by native yeast and aged sur lie in neutral French oak barrels. The wine was bottled en tirage using a classic strain of yeast and disgorged after 21 months. White gold in appearance with aromas of dried apricot, Asian pear, lemon meringue, hay, and a touch of umami comes in graceful waves. The 2020 Hallberg Brut displays a beautiful level of rich maturity and weight balanced with a taut freshness.
